During a very serious segment about the disappearance of a sixteen-year-old girl named Molly Bish, Channel 3 meant to display a photo of the man that authorities suspected to have perpetrated the crime. Unfortunately, as you can see, that did not happen. While Rodney Stanger was indeed the suspect, Channel 3 accidentally put on a picture of a hamster instead!
While most of us would have laughed for hours on end, the news anchor managed to keep calm. “Well, no, this is not Rodney Stanger obviously,” she quickly said, without a hint of joking. Then she promised they would re-show Stanger’s picture later on, which they did.
