Nancy Pelosi and Paul Pelosi – Together Since 1963
Nancy and Paul Pelosi’s love story began in 1961 when they crossed paths during a summer school class at Georgetown University. Nancy, a student at Trinity College, and Paul, studying foreign service, were enrolled in a class called ‘The History of Africa, South of the Sahara.’ Their engagement was a memorable moment that took place at St. Joseph’s Church, and just two years later, they tied the knot in 1963.
Their journey together includes raising five children and supporting Nancy’s political career. In 1987, Nancy was elected to Congress, transitioning from homemaker to policymaker. Throughout her career, Paul has been her steadfast supporter from the sidelines.
