Chuck and Barbara Grassley’s love story is one for the ages. They met in the early ’50s and decided to make it official in 1954 when Barbara was just 22. Their wedding took place at The Little Brown Church near Nashua, Iowa, and it marked the beginning of a journey that has lasted over 60 years!
The Grassleys are not only partners in love but also in parenthood—they have five children. Barbara’s dedication shines through as she juggled family life with Chuck’s political career. She even took a break from college to care for their children but returned in 1981 to pursue a degree in accounting.
