Loni Anderson wasn’t just another pretty face on television. Sure, she turned heads as the receptionist Jennifer on “WKRP in Cincinnati” in the late 1970s. But Loni brought more than looks to the role. She was quick-witted and held her own with the guys, making Jennifer a fan favorite.
Then came 1988. Loni co-starred in a movie with Hollywood hotshot Burt Reynolds, and their sizzling chemistry was evident on and off screen. They tied the knot, but after a few years, it wasn’t meant to be. Loni kept acting, though, and even starred in the 2023 Lifetime film “Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas.”
