STOCKARD CHANNING – BORN IN 1944

“Grease” wouldn’t have been the same without Rizzo’s sharp wit and killer attitude. Stockard Channing stole the show in 1978 as the coolest Pink Lady in Rydell High. A few years later, she played a fierce New Yorker in a stage show called “Six Degrees of Separation.” It was such a hit that they even made a movie, and Hollywood knocked even louder.

Stockard got nominated for an Oscar for that role! She also landed the role of First Lady Abbey Bartlet on a hit show called “The West Wing.” The Daytime Emmy Award winner kept acting, becoming a familiar face to audiences for decades.
