Miley Cyrus – Real Name: Destiny Hope Cyrus
Miley Cyrus changed her name early in her life, but it wasn’t until much later that she made it official. She was named Destiny Hope Cyrus and nicknamed “Smiley” as a child. She took the “Miley” in her nickname and adopted Ray as a tribute to her grandfather.
She adopted the name when she debuted on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana and continued to use it in her music career. Cyrus didn’t formally change her name to Miley Ray Cyrus until 2008, when she was 15 years old. Her seventh studio album, “Plastic Hearts,’ was released in November 2020.
