Though she’s been operating under the stage name since she began her career in the film industry at the age of 19, you’d be shocked to know that Olivia Wilde is not actually her real name, but Olivia Jane Cockburn is. Like many celebrities, she apparently acquired the name to create a new personality separate from her personal life.
Wilde is an actress and filmmaker who rose to prominence as Alex Kelly on the teen drama television series “The O.C.” She made her directorial debut with “Booksmart,” which earned her an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature in 2019.
