“Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington’s real name has been revealed to be Christopher Catesby Harington. He himself believed he was christened Kit until his parents told him his actual first name when he was 11.
Harrington rose to prominence as Jon Snow in HBO’s epic fantasy TV series “Game of Thrones,” for which he received critical acclaim and a slew of awards. These include two Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. In the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film “Eternals,” he played the role of Dane Whitman.
