Rapper and actor Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. isn’t just named after his father, but looks so much like him in his heydays that he played his dad on screen in the movie “Straight Outta Compton.” While Ice Cube initially gained fame as a member of the pioneering hip-hop group N.W.A. and later, with his solo acting and music career, his son took a different route to fame.
Going by his stage name “OMG,” O’Shea Jr. began his musical career along with his brother Darrell, and then was cast to portray his father in “Straight Outta Compton.” He has also acted in “Den of Thieves” and “Swagger.”
