Richard Gere had been a family friend of the Silva family for a long time, but they were introduced as adults when Alejandra Silva was working at a hotel in Italy. They began their romance in 2014 and tied the knot in 2018.
Alejandra, an activist, and philanthropist was previously married to Govind Friedland before she got together with the “Pretty Woman” actor, but the divorce was finalized in 2015. The couple has two kids together. Gere began his acting career in the ’70s and has starred in many movies, including “I’m Not There,” “Runaway Bride,” and “Primal Fear.” The last known time he appeared on screen was in “MotherFatherSon” in 2019.
