Ian Hart entered the Potterverse with the role of Professor Quirinus Quirrell. In “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the character is one of the wizards in the pub who welcomes Hagrid and the young wizard. Initially, Quirrell appears harmless with his verbal stutter and nervous demeanor. Little did anyone know that behind his timid facade lurked a determined villain.
Ian’s acting career took off following his role in the “Harry Potter” films. He has since kept himself busy with popular TV shows and movies, including “The Terror,” “Bates Motel,” “The Bridge,” “Finding Neverland,” and “The Man Who Crossed Hitler.”
