All of Las Vegas knows Wayne Newton as either Mr. Las Vegas, The Midnight Idol, or Mr. Entertainer. After all, he is one of the city’s best-known entertainers, and in 2019, he celebrated his 60th year as a Vegas performer at the Caesars Palace. “Danke Schoen” and “Don’t You Walk So Fast” are some of the class hits that helped him reach the top charts.

The 1986 flick “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” even used his ’63 hit “Danke Schoen” as the film’s score. Newton also dabbled in acting, and he’s known for “License to Kill,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” and in 2020, he appeared in “Stealing Chaplin.” He also graced our screens in commercials aired in 2020 promoting the Caesars Entertainment resorts reopening.
