Adults dressed in costumes are not allowed at Disneyland, except on Halloween when they can dress as their favorite character. It’s mainly because children often mistake them for actors who are actually hired.
It’s not surprising that they are so strict about their costume policy, as many actors bring beloved characters to life. The park’s meticulous attention to detail is renowned, and allowing guests to do that could easily lead to confusion and disruption. But apparently, these two haven’t heard of that! Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that the police have to get involved because some people don’t want to hear “no.”
