Sissy Spacek – Coal Miner’s Daughter, Born in 1949
Having participated in film projects constantly throughout the years, Sissy Spacek ensured her place on this list! She was born in Texas back in 1949 and actually started off as a singer in the ’60s before making her movie debut in Warhol’s movie Women in Revolt in 1971. Her career was established with movies like Carrie, and Coal Miner’s Daughter for which she even managed to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Spacek was also seen on In The Bedroom and The Help. She most recently participated in the TV show Homecoming in the role of Ellen Bergman in 2018.
