Linda Davidson achieved fame with her 1984 breakout performance in EastEnders as Mary Smith, quickly becoming the center of attention. After leaving the soap opera in 1988, she went on to appear in other shows such as Casualty and The Bill, before retiring from acting in 1998 and taking up a job as an editor. Despite this, she made a brief return to EastEnders in 2019 for one episode. Currently, the former actress resides in London, and her devoted fans still hope to see more of her on their screens!
