Artistic gymnast Gabby Douglas etched her name in Olympic history as the first African American to win the individual all-around championship in 2012. Her remarkable achievements include being part of the iconic “Fierce Five” and “Final Five,” securing team golds in both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
Gabby also played a crucial role in the teams’ victories at the 2011 and 2015 World Championships. Uniquely, she won both the individual all-around and team golds at a single Olympics.
