Popularly known as Piano Man, Billy Joel was a sensation in the ’70s with distinctly different features than he has now. One of which is his lovely Afro style from his youth which is no longer there. But his musical talent remains the same, and he is still the same legendary musician who won five Grammys and has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Joel was inspired into music by his mother, who had him take piano lessons, but she probably didn’t envision him dropping out of school to pursue music full time. He recently wrote and performed in three episodes of the “Morning Joe” talk show.

Ralph Carter is a famous star of the ’70s who many Americans adore because of his role in the family drama sitcom “Good Times.” His dream was always to one day be on the big stage, and today he has a level of fame that he probably never dreamt of.

His career in Broadway began at only nine years old, and he received a few awards in his time. He later founded an organization called We Are Linden to help youths in the east side community with their issues. On January 17, 2022, the group came out to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Joe Turkel, a 92-year-old actor, has starred in many popular movies and shows, including “Blade Runner” and “The Shining”. He may not have played the lead roles, but his characters are memorable. For example, he played Dr. Elden Tyrell in Blade Runner and the terrifying bartender Lloyd in “The Shining”. Turkel retired from acting in 1998, but still does interviews and attends classic film conventions. While “The Shining” is his most famous work, he said that “Paths of Glory” is his favorite movie to work on.
