It’s genuinely amazing that Elinor Donahue still has elements of her youthful face and smile which first came to light back in the ’50s when she played her most famous role as Betty Anderson in the sitcom “Father Knows Best.”
She’s not doing much acting lately, but we’re just happy to be able to have such an icon with us still. After about five decades, it’s understandable she would rather stay away from the big screens to enjoy a more quiet life. Her last acting role was between 2010 and 2011, but we got to see her in the documentary TV series “History of the Sitcom” in July 2021.
