Former actress Bianca Jagger addressed a long-circulated myth about her infamous entrance to Studio 54 on her 30th birthday in 1977. Contrary to the popular belief that she rode a white horse into the club, Bianca clarified in a 2015 letter to the Financial Times that she entered on foot with her then-husband, Mick Jagger.
The white horse was a birthday surprise from club owner Steve Rubell, but she emphasized she did not ride it. As an advocate for animal rights, she expressed offense at the suggestion. This clarification distinguishes the actual events from the exaggerated tales surrounding that party thrown by late fashion designer ‘Halston.’
