The Hensel twins were no strangers to the classroom dynamic when they started their roles at Sunnyside Elementary. Having completed student teaching, they were familiar with the classroom dynamic. However, the school management was concerned about how the students would react.
To ease into this new chapter, the school crafted a thoughtful introduction strategy for Abby and Brittany. They also facilitated two Q&A sessions for the students: one in the twins’ presence and another in their absence. These sessions allowed the students to express their curiosity and concerns openly. The open communication was a success, as it helped dispel any uncertainties and generated excitement among the students.
