After his ten-year stint on “Friends,” Matthew found the time to support others facing similar challenges. In 2013, he opened Perry House in Malibu, a wellness center dedicated to helping men overcome various addictions.
Concurrently, Matthew explored new acting opportunities. He appeared in films like “Numb” and “Birds of America” and starred in the short-lived series “Mr. Sunshine.” This phase of his life provided a balance between personal healing, professional endeavors, and a commitment to helping others on their journey to recovery.
