Ripple Doesn’t Care
There’s a very good reason that news anchors and producers rarely like to work with wild animals: you simply cannot control them! For instance, while Canadian news program Global Edmonton thought its story on the Edmonton Humane Society was over, the animals in the studio had different ideas. While weatherman Mike Sobel attempted to give viewers the forecast, Ripple the dog, from the Human Society, just wanted to play!
Ripple, a part mastiff, did not care about the forecast and proceeded to run circles around Sobel as he tried to talk about the weather. Then, when Sobel would not stop, the dog took to jumping on the weatherman! Thankfully, the anchor took it all in good sport, laughing the entire time. The best part of all? Ripple’s performance found him a show just days after his appearance on the Canadian news show.
