You know that the moment once dubbed “The Most Excellent Technical Meltdown in Live Television News History” has to be completely and ridiculously hilarious. What could have possibly been that bad?
Well, the answer is an entire 19 minutes of live video without any audio whatsoever. That’s right, silence! You see, the crew messed up and silence all but one reporter on the WGN-Channel 9 evening news. Even worse, the team could not manage to determine how to fix it for nearly 20 minutes! During the time, the anchors wrote hysterical messages to the viewers on whiteboards, like the one above.
