Dog Interrupts Weather Recording
Whoever thinks working from home is easy has never been a news anchor! It wasn’t so sunny for meteorologist Scott Connell when his dog Maple kept interrupting his daily weather report. Even though the anchor has, like many of us, adjusted to the “new normal,” it seems his dog Maple has not! So, Maple made her news debut in mid-April when she barked over Connell’s weather reporting.
For a while, everything seemed fine. Then, two weeks later, Maple was back at it again! After recording several attempted takes, Connell had to stop recording to have a little chat with Maple. “Maple leave the cat alone… alright let’s go. Take 300.” “She’s at it again. She’s not happy,” he said in the many outtakes. Fortunately, Connell eventually managed to record one solid take for the newscast, while his producer got a good laugh from the rest of the footage!
