Tempting the Hungry Elephant
Lucky for the villagers, some folks in the crowd had the hookups for elephant snacks. They pooled their resources and brought in truckloads of treats they hoped she couldn’t resist. They had a mixture of what you might call “Elephant Delights.”
The trucks were packed with bananas, herbs, veggies, and all sorts of goodies she loved. Not only would this buffet tempt her, but it would also give her the energy boost she needed. Now, they just needed her to notice the feast. If only they had a giant dinner bell to ring! Everyone held their breath, waiting to see if their plan would work.
